ROUND 1 - REFERENCE
The group of candidates can choose any book genre (English or Vietnamese). Each group consists of a minimum of 3 members and a maximum of 5 members. Types of reference books are as follows:
- Adventure
- Detective
- Short stories
- Love stories/romance
- History
- Science
- Science fiction
- Fashion and design
- Biography
- Thriller
- Comics/funny stories
- Geography/environment
- Classics
- Culture
- Literature
INFORMATION
CONTENT
Presenting views on reading culture and presenting a favorite genre of books by the group in the form of video clips in English.
Request:
- Video clips should not be longer than 5 minutes
- Format of speech in video clip: Presentation
Expected number of teams: 20 teams.
Entries must be self-made and not submitted in any previous competition.
INSTRUCTIONS (REFERENCES)
The test is not limited to the following information and does not have to be in the following order:
- The group's view on "Reading culture"
- Title, author, story/story genre, setting and story summary
- Describe a character you love, or are interested in. How has this character influenced you? How did the character make you feel happy, sad, happy, angry, hopeful, etc.?
- Describe a scene/scene in the book
- What did you learn from the story/book, Why is it important to you?
- What real connections do you see in relation to the plot content?
FORM FOR TEST SENDING
Deadline to submit entries for the Preliminary Round: May 28, 2023
Scoring Criteria
The judges will score based on the following criteria:
- Expertise: 70% of total score
- Shared and liked: 30% of total points (total of 100 likes and shares: 2 points – total of over 200 likes and shares: 3 points)
- Total: 10 points and choose 8-10 teams to participate in round 2
Results announced 1 week after the end of Round 1
